We do not provide any of the adoption services you will need in order to meet the legal requirements your state has with regards to adoption. Every state has specific laws and requirements for these services which are provided by adoption professionals approved (and in most cases licensed) by your state. AdoptionOnline.com serves the entire United States and it is not possible for us to meet the requirements of each state. Therefore, we provide none of those services.

Legal and other Adoption ServicesWe do not perform homestudies or provide any legal paperwork required by your state. There are many qualified and iicensed adoption professionals in your area who can provide these services. In addition, they can advise you regarding exactly what requirements you must satisfy and what steps you need to go through in order to legally qualify for and complete your adoption. International AdoptionAdoptionOnline.com asists families hoping to adopt to contact pregnant women considering an adoption plan for their baby. By definition, this is an open adoption. An open adoption (the ability for potential Birthparents to make decisions about the placement of their child and to have some contact with the adoptive family) is typically associated with adopting children in North America (a.k.a. Domestic Adoption). AdoptionOnline.com focuses 100% on Domestic Adoption. Therefore, this service will not be effective for you if you are pursuing the adoption of a child that will not be born in the United States (otherwise known as an International adoption). If you are interested in an International adoption, there are many agencies and attorneys who can help you.
